Utilities

DEAM helps prevent cut-off of water, gas and electicity services by providing financial assistance to qualifying residents once/year to help pay gas, electricity and water bills. Effective February 28, 2017 we can only assist with the past due/previous service amount on the utility bill. We cannot assist with current bills. The maximum assistance is $125, but cannot exceed the past due amount.
Utility bill assistance is by appointment only. Call (404)373-2300 on Mondays or Thursdays at 11 AM to request an appointment time. We currently have funds for approximately 15 appointments per week, so please understand that not everyone seeking assistance will be able to get an appointment.

If requesting financial aid for utilities, bring current bill showing a past due amount.

Prescriptions

DEAM provides financial assistance to qualifying residents for prescriptions. Applicants should bring pharmacy phone number for verification and price check.
