How DEAM Donations Fight Hunger and Homelessness

DEAM donations fund food and financial contributions directly to Decatur-area residents to prevent homelessness and hunger.

$1 – will buy 6 cans soup and vegetables, enough to feed 1 hungry senior citizen for 1.5 days

$5 – will buy peanut butter, macaroni & cheese, milk and vegetables, enough to feed 1 mother and child for 3 days

$15 – will provide complete meals and basic toiletries for family of 4 for 3-4 days

$25 – will pay for 3 months prescriptions for critical conditions such as diabetes, heart conditions and asthma

$75 – will pay a past-due gas or electric bill, so a family does not have heat cut off this winter
